OPC as a chapter of OPIN, is pleased to offer the opportunity to take part in SALON OPTO, in Paris, between September 30 and October 2, 2008.
SALON OPTO is France’s largest photonics trade show with over 200 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees. You will be part of an NRC-led Canadian Delegation that will be featured as a “Guest of Honour”. You will be eligible for a TABLE TOP (table, two chairs, electrical outlet, etc.) and be invited to take part in business-to-business meetings to explore technology and other partnering opportunities.
You will also have the opportunity to visit the POPsud photonics cluster in Marseilles. POPsud is a community of 138 member companies involved in industrial development, research and higher education in optics, photonics and image processing.
Funding is made possible through OPIN’s association with NRC, which has made arrangements and provided partial funding through IRAP, and with support from Ontario ’s Ministry of Research and Innovation. The estimated cost is $3,600 for non OPIN members and $3,200 for OPIN members. This is an approximate $3,000 subsidy!
