OCRI, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ottawa's technology clusters invite you to this exciting presentation by Dr David Jacobson, futurist and Director - Emerging Technologies, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). This interactive presentation will provide a showcase of technology - business trends in Information, Communications, Semiconductors, Nanotechnology, Electronics, Software and Computers, and Entertainment and Media including: technology ecosystem; winners in wireless; players in networks; participative brains and some audience participation; nanoparticle contrast; optical communications; semiconductors resurge; reality augmented; remote microscopes; mining tacit knowledge; clouds of computing; IT follows power; security adds behaviour; electric vehicles - charged up, sun-power rises; actively passive RFID. Several of these trends will be illustrated using engaging video clips.
